Via. Memeorandum, via. Fox News, via. Malkin, I am reading that 'the Census Director has sent a letter to the
National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that it will no longer have a role in conducting the 2010 census. ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low level data gathering'.
Wow, yipee kay-ya, the right blogosphere, Breitbart's Biggovernment.com undercover work and alternative shows like Glenn Beck are making a difference and putting the word accountability into the collective vocabulary of the insidious group inside our shadow government.
Excerpt taken from the Census Director's letter to ACORN -
"Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN's affiliation with the 2010 Census promotionhas caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts."
"Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national
partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership."

ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm just an old guy with old guy suspicions, but I don't believe a damn thing the government says. I'm not celebrating while I know that ACORN is due to get $8 billion in stimulus funds.

ReplyDeleteObama can't use his like minded corrupt racist cronies in the take over of the Census. Now is there any hope of revoking that $8 billion in stimulus money they're due? Before this week I would say no way, but with his Marxist plans falling apart at the seams right now, maybe. Like in Episode 4, there's a new hope.
ReplyDeleteWahoo!! Hip Hip Hurray!! Thank you fellow bloggers for keeping their collective feet to the fire. I have been so concerned about this issue and have been praying about it daily. Whew. [wiping brow] God answers prayer. However ... I am still NOT completing the Census. I'm only putting names and ages, that's it. There's no legit reason why they should know how many flushing toilets we have, nor how long it takes to get to work. They shouldn't even care what race we think we are. Nope. Won't tell 'em.

ACORN does nothing legal. If two people who, frankly looked like missionaries, could fool those two ACORN bozos, there's no telling what other scams ACORN is running. They shouldn't get one dime of stimulus funds--or any taxpayer funding.
