Last night Rep. Tim Bishop Democrat, NY held a town hall meeting. Word is that Bishop shipped in several bus loads of union members to the event, many from outside districts? Anyway this blogger here from NY has a great summation of the event.

Union members, many from outside the district, were snuck into the hall beforehand in an effort to stack the deck with a friendly audience.
The last straw came when one of the union leaders from outside the district was asked to speak. The citizens erupted in open revolt which almost led to violence from the union goons.

I could not follow anything that was said in this video, although it was clear there were a lot of worked up people.
ReplyDeleteGreat post....... Even though he packed the hall FREE AMERICANS shut them down!!! Way to go New York. SHow them how it is done even when the sneaky back door antics are happening.

Here's another reason for Tim Bishop to fear coming face to face with his constituents. http://shouldirun.com displays screenshots (link is on the left column) of "stimulus" projects in New York's 1st Congressional District that were supposed to create jobs, but the monetary awards are to out of district companies!
