John Dingell on Protesters - Ku Klux Klan

by the Left Coast Rebel

Where do I even start? How do I write this up? Dingellberry as you know is the longest serving member of Congress in the House. From the liberal site Think Progress here -

DINGELL: Well, the last time I had to confront something like this was when I voted for the civil rights bill and my opponent voted against it. At that time, we had a lot of Ku Klux Klan folks and white supremacists and folks in white sheets and other things running around causing trouble.

Wow, I vote for these folks to keep flapping their lips, it's going to be much easier to defeat this agenda when you have Leftist leaders saying such outrageous things. Keep it up Dingellberry, Pelosi, Reid, et al.

From the comment section at Think Progress as well; the civility of the Leftwing -

  • Bob says:

Maybe they remind you of the kkk because they are the kkk. (Brilliant).

  • Fred says:

I'm with Bob. You don't seem to understand that their actions are really about racism today. Not about healthcare. Healthcare is just the issue they are using. (Huh? Environment - racism. Taxes - racism. Health care - racism).

  • ralph the wonder llama says:

Yeah, it may have seemed a stupid thing to say, but let's face it; stupid things said by Congressmen are about the only things getting traction these days.

I mean, come on! The media is even treating "death panels" as if it were a legitimate issue as framed by former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Quitter). Clearly, the media doesn't cotton to restrained, civil discourse. It only responds to firebombs. So let's lob some frickin' firebombs. (Wow, we are going to win the next election folks, we really are)!

  • Uncle Ho says:

to clarify, watchdog was right about that this isn't about health care, it's about a scary BLACK man being POTUS.

No enuff coffee yet. (Great command of the English language).

  • Rich H says:

I haven't voted you down either, but I have to disagree on the whole, "let's act like adults and talk this thing over" approach.

It didn't work for Kerry, and it didn't work for McCain (remember his illegitimate black child). I'm afraid when you try to talk sense to these racist regressive minded types you don't get anywhere. (Wow, please run for office, please, McCain had a black child)??????

I have to stop here but isn't this instructive? I got to comment 35 of 350 on this Dingellberry story. Look at the Left wing in all of their glory. Please God, please let them ratchet the rhetoric up even more.

  3. Who are these people and why aren't we inviting them to speak to the President at the health care debates. I'd love to see youtube videos.

crazy wingnut: Mr. President...I love you. Now can you tell me why know one is talking about McCain's illegitimate black child? Also, don't you think all those who oppose your highness are just racists?

  5. It is very possible that there is going to be violence. That is sad.

I don't understand why the left is ratching it up. They need to stop insulting innocent people who are scared about what is going to happen to their healthcare options.

This is an emotional topic. People of course are going to get emotional.

  6. I hate it when I'm right. I told everyone that would hear me that things will change towards tryanny and anyone that opposes will be branded a racist because of Obama's color. Reading the post shows that liberals and their supporters don't have the intelligence of a kindergardener. They don't reason, they rationalize, they don't debate, they throw punches and cry bigotry, they don't follow an argument, they create an argument by disagreeing with them. I'm convinced that our political body is so contaminated that only a political enema can save it.

  7. It all boils down to this in my opinion...
    Reason vs. Excuse
    Reasons promote THINKING
    Excuses dilutes thinking.

It seems to me the whole lefty liberal shtick is getting pretty old...for every concern that the public has regarding our hard earned money and constitutional rights they(LL)use the excuse of racism.

This happening right now is bald faced tyranny and its getting more and more brazen, we do not agree with them so they throw some wild card hot button issue (and they need a new track) out there, to gas light the public, throw us off the topic at hand and voila they do what they are going to do anyways. The other concern is polarizing.....When governing bodies stir the pot in the public sector a "battle of the emotions" erupts and nothing gets done or things get done unbeknowingly (sp) and this is exactly what is happening. Do not take the bait.WE are smarter than that.

  8. The race card is such a cop-out, and lacks any intelligence. Instead of addressing people's LEGITIMATE concerns, it is much easier to discredit us as racists.
It's a cowardly tactic that has, unfornately worked for some time. I think people are growing tired of the race thing, which is another reason Obama and his policies are losing support.

@ It is sad and it will play into their hands, I do not support that at all, this needs to be peaceful!

@ Madmath - I'm convinced of the same, perhaps LCR is a political enema?

    @ Cowgirl - Great points!

@ Jessica - Nice to see you here, it is a cop-out, and the last desperate step for these people!

@ keyboard jockey - They are pushing to hard, I'll check out that link......
