Healthcare Informants - Something Stinks Like a Dead Fishy

by the Left Coast Rebel

Truth is stranger than fiction, is Free Speech a dead fish?

White House.gov yesterday here -

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

This reminds me of Dick Durbin's statement yesterday that I had up. Too much democracy, dissent and discourse is not a good thing when it goes against the one-party machine. Send your 'fishy' stories to flag@whitehous.gov, let them know that you have read the House bill. Let them know your disgust. Let them know that you aren't going to go belly-up like a poor little goldfish trapped in a fishbowl of socialism.

Left Coast Rebel's email -

To whom it may concern,

It is with much concern for my country and my freedoms that I write you. I do not support any of the the provisions in the current health care proposals, I have read HR 3200. Most details are shocking to me and I must express my discontent. I do not appreciate the labelling of debate and dissent as 'seeming fishy' as well.

  1. Did you turn yourself in, beg for forgiveness, and goosestep down the road yet?

  2. I want to email them sections of the bill and say I'LL GIVE YOU FISHY!

But I'm afraid they'll find me and blacklist me or something.

  3. @ Adrienne - Indeed, nice pun.

    @ BB - I did, I'm probably blacklisted now.

@ Obama Nation - Email them! Please do. If this puts any of us on a 'list' then we are already doomed. We are probably on the list anyway due to our blogs.....

  4. Yes, I suspected I was already on the list. I doubt they need anybody reporting me. I'll go check my analytics for Washington/Homeland Security hits.

  5. Since I made politico I must be on the hit list. But, that's ok. I'm close, the secret service can easily keep track of me.

In all seriousness, someone left a blogpost on Smart Girls saying that they are using to get our email and IP addresses and that conservatives emailing them is really bad idea. I really hate all the consiperacy stuff. But it may not be all that crazy with the way things are headed in this country.

I am just glad to see people are starting to wake up.

  6. @ Opus - Tell me what you find!

@ Justaconsgirl - I hope that we are not headed in that bad of a direction....I don't think we are.

  9. Do what I did and turn yourself in. get enough people doing so and we could crash the white house site. The last thing Obama would expect would be for millions of brazen people to tell Obama they don't like his plan , his personality or his sasquatch wife on his own site.

  10. The left call us the Brown Coats, when in fact they are the thugs. As for the fish comment, you know Rahm was behind that.

  11. Here's how to automatically send a growing daily stream of junk email to flag@whitehouse.gov:

    1. Set up a gmail account (mail.google.com) just for this purpose.

    2. Sign up for a bunch of free, email-generating web services (eg. Google Alerts) using the gmail account.

    3. Adjust your gmail settings: under "Settings->Forwarding and POP/IMAP", select "Forward a copy of incoming mail to", then fill in flag@whitehouse.gov

    4. Tell your friends how they too can fight against intimidation and abuse of power.

It's time to hit back, ten times as hard. Every day.
