It's no wonder that we are broke and broken, this needs no elaborative comment on my part.

You gotta feel sorry for her. This is all over the place. She must be mortified.
ReplyDeleteWell, Just a conservative girl, like, she's probably like, too dumb to um, realize what's happening, you know? And why like, she's suddenly so famous, and um, why everyone is laughing at her and stuff. :D
ReplyDeleteMy husband showed me this video last night, and at first I thought it was a parody of some sort. Boy was I wrong, this is the real thing.
ReplyDeleteI know these people exist, or how else would we have ended up with the POTUS we have...but man, it is another thing to actually see one of these people in 'action.'
It is just so sad, I could not even laugh. I just hung my head in disgust and slowly shook my head.
My son just walked in-asked what I was listening to-
ReplyDelete"A young woman at a City Council meeting in Santa Cruz," I said --
He listened for a second and stated."This is a joke - right?!"
"Sadly - No!"....
C-CS
They say ignorance is bliss - she must have a truly blissful life.
ReplyDeleteJust... wow. Poster child for an IQ requirement to vote.
ReplyDeleteThis is why we need an IQ test for voting. This brings new meaning to "stupid is what stupid does". Why didn't the counsel shut her up and asked, "Do you work at being this stupid or does it come natually?"
ReplyDeleteI'll say, if ignornace is bliss, she's living in paradise.
So that is how you guy ended up with so much debt!
ReplyDeleteShe is so stupid I actually feel embarrassed for her.
I still think she must have indulged in substances too much at some point. She is not playing with a full deck.
ReplyDeleteIt's Santa Cruz, man!
ReplyDeleteMy little brother started his law enforcement career in Santa Cruz. There are plenty of people like that in that city.
But it is kinda funny that they let her go on that long.
And I hope we are happy with what our govenment run, unionized teachers have put out.
ReplyDeleteFor we are doomed.
No disrespect to my friends (LCR and Opus) and any others who live in CA. I can spot a person from CA (SO CAL, or the coast at least) when talking to them for 5 minutes. Although I cannot watch the video (work), I am confident I know the basics of it. She is not that atypical. Dad lived in Ontario Ca for years and years and I spent many summers there. Dad is a salesman and dealt with the public every day. The rank and file Californian is pretty goofy. And the emigrants from other states are believe it or not the worst. Old school born and raised folks from Ca are slightly different. But California attracts WEIRDOS and DUMBASSES
ReplyDelete@ cons girl - I do a little, on the other hand I pity us, the public education system and our future as a nation.
ReplyDelete@ Joie - I live in So CA, on the beach no-less. I am surrounded by people like this.
@ Christian Sol - Truth is stranger than fiction!
@ Barking Spider - If only I were so lucky, I think I know too much.
@ Nick, Madmath - Indeed, anything above room temp or is that asking too much?
@ Clifton - It is precisely how we ended up with the debt we have.
@ Opus - Perhaps, it is possible as well that she perfectly reflects the collective So CA IQ.
@ Blue - Indeed.
@ Scalawag - We reap what we have sown.
@ KOOK - Bucking the trend here my friend, I agree with you 100% Opus and I are 1/10000 of the population here.

Well I actually live just a few miles from Santa Cruz, and it is one of the most liberal towns in America, right up there with Berkeley. My son graduated from UC Santa Cruz. We have more weirdos per acre than any other county in the states. As for the young lady opining before the City Council, I too feel sorry for her. I wonder who dresses her in the mornings? How does she know if she's in the right apartment at night?
ReplyDelete@ Monk - Great points, I wonder how she even found the city council, did a friend drive her? Why does your area attract such weirdos? Thanks for reading!
ReplyDelete"Well I actually live just a few miles from Santa Cruz, and it is one of the most liberal towns in America, right up there with Berkeley."
ReplyDeleteYea, but she's a republican... you won't find many liberals saying "Bush was good." She's calling for lower taxes and stuff like that machine and things. Wouldn't chalk that in the liberal category.
Sad video... the over privileged is just as incoherent as the under privileged. Gives me eerie reminders of the Miss American pageant a couple of years back...
And ummmm yeah we we should like wave the magic wand, and ummmmm like have world peace and ummmmm like yeah
