Rand Paul, Glenn Beck - Supporting, Complaining in Equal

By the Left Coast Rebel

Dr. Rand Paul nails it on the premise, the cause and effect of socialized medicine. Dr. Paul nails it on most limited governance issues. He really does. Who is this man you ask? Rand is actually the son of congressman Ron Paul, the fiery Old-right congressman that is one of the only consistent clarion voices against our march to statism and socialism. Like Ron Paul, he's an MD and has keen insight in the medical industry. Better yet, he's also running in the Kentucky primary for the Senate for 2010.

Any reader of the Left Coast Rebel knows ad nauseum that I despise most politicians. Both Democrats and Republicans. The last two years of the Bush administration, RINOs, every aspect of the Obamanation. In today's politik, I especially despise the far-left progressive power-brokers that are dismantling our Constitution and way of life as I speak.

So in the spirit of giving credit and credence; of voicing opposition and an alternative I am pointing to Dr. Rand Paul, a man that calls to, adheres to and lives by the Constitutional restraint that is so desperately needed today. Look at his campaign site here. Do some research on him. Support him if you deem it possible, worthy and necessary. Or not. At this point, the nadir of his push will possibly come down to campaign contributions - the extent to which ordinary citizens; you and I give to the effort, time and money. I would reiterate one thing, try to do better than I - aggressively support leaders such as Rand Paul as much as we complain about the swine that are attempting to destroy our Republic. Then we can truly right this ship. Rand Paul 2008 Boston Tea Party -

We get our just deserve if we don't offer up our support to candidates like this......

  1. I've decided that while I may remain a Republican, it is only on paper. It's time we do as Beck says and vote on beliefs. If an independent or libertarian is closest to my views, they'll get my vote.

An uninformed voter does more damage to the nation than any terrorist attack ever could.

  9. Rand Paul has a message out today that he plans to make a decision about running in the primary on August 20. If he has enough money he will challenge the incumbent. Let's help him do it!
