The Moral Compass - Well Intentioned, Suspicious to Wrong

So I am sitting at my desk today sifting through news, stuff has stacked up since I have had some personal issues lately. Life throws us all curveballs. In the coming weeks you will see plenty of quality material from myself but you will also see material from some of the great bloggers that I have befriended.

Anyway, such as is the course with the Obamanation, just a few days passing without the ability to follow independent news sources and stories has me scurrying to catch up. It may not even be possible. I hearken back to thoughts that I had when the Silver Tongue was anointed, while trying to track our radicalized Leftist government that came marching out of the gate. Our marching coup d' etat. Even a blogger citizen journalist is only one man. There is simply too much.

This administration, this Obamanation is using every single point of economic data and the recession to spin their radical agenda. Just like Conservative Generation noted in his guest post. They are literally blitzing the American public on a daily front. Concerned Americans don't even have time to react to the changes that they are thrusting upon us. Every time that I see the Obamanation and his minions on Bloomberg or CNBC when watching the market, (muted always, sans bobblehead chatter), there is always an elicited response. My elicited gut feelings are that -

a). They don't know what the hell they are doing, the Obamanation's oratory skills have worn thin, he brings on the air of condescension, arrogance, irritation. His persona is grating. The thin-leaf of silver coating on the man's tongue is sloughing.

b). They have a false sense of urgency for everything that they are doing.

c). They don't have enough faith in their policy proposals/decisions to allow them to be vetted by American public opinion.

In all fairness, I sensed a, b, and c in the waning years of the Bush Administration as well. Better to know your enemy and have the ability to confront head-on than to have the enemy in your midst.

Back to my theme inspired by Conservative Generation's piece. Simply put, why are they doing this? Why the shock and awe? Why the dishonesty as CG points out with the jobs numbers? Why the blitzkrieg? Why the grating sense I get from the Obamanation? It's simple. The pols, even in this administration, know that the hoodwinking of the American public can only last so long. We are not a socialist, quasi or otherwise, pseudo-European nation, (excepting the left and right coasts).

In our heart of hearts we don't philosophically attach ourselves to such train of thought. We believe in capitalism and free markets. A free market is simply the economic extension of our God- given Constitutional right to pursue happiness. It is a basic right.

They know this. They know that the public senses the silent quasi-European socialist takeover that the Obamanation is acting on, trying to sell on us. And they know that the Leviathon of the Moral Compass of America, the Moral Majority will awake. Our collective American moral compas has quickly moved, as pictured to the right from the well intentioned point to midway between suspicious and wrong. We are almost there.

The revolt from the forced, back-door policies of this radical Obamanation will be met with such ferocity and swell of discontent that it will truly be awe-inspiring. That day will come, mark my words. I can't wait too see it. Watch the video below. I know that is painful to watch the video above, it truly is. But watch it. Watch it again. Doesn't a, b and c aforementioned by I come to your mind? There is hope, let this give you energy to put your activist caps on!

Switching gears, but also on a related topic is a recent Gallup poll. Why is this particular poll here, (below),worthy of note? It points to the fact that a rising percentage of Americans see the party of the Donkey as being too liberal. 46% of Americans to be exact. The last time that this number was this high? 1994. There is hope.

"The increasing perception of the Democrats as too far left comes as President Obamanation and the Democrats in Congress have expanded the role in the economy to address economic problems facing the country....."

Of course any astute reader of the Left Coast Rebel will know that I totally disagree with the latter in the above assumption. The Federal Leviathan expansion under this Obamanation has not been done to address the problems in the economy, it has been done to dismantle the free market, bypass the Constitution and 'correct the playing field'. It's 24/7 Play-Ball! for liberal wet-dreams unfulfilled for 30 years, (especially socialized medicine). The dismantling of the 'winner takes all' free market capitalism, (in the Obamanation's own words here).
