Unbiased Tea Party Media Coverage

Wow, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of finding such a great report on the D.C. tea party that took place on July 4th. It's accurate, doesn't scapegoat demonstrators as moonbats and racists, plainly puts forth the plight of the average concerned American at this point in our history. We are broke and broken, nay to bigger government, massive tax increases, generational theft.

Wait a minute........what's that?........RT?.......Russia Today?........you're telling me this is a Russian report?

I should have known better folks. I have failed you. I have failed myself. This is not an American report, it's from an alternative Russian media group. I should have known better. We are living in the twilight zone after all truth is stranger than fiction in slow-motion. Hat-tip to MAinfo for finding this video.

In other Tea Party news, I was with family on Independence Day and there was a great demonstration nearby in Temecula, CA. Amazingly, as I said in one of my other posts today, this is Mary Bono Mack country. Enjoy the pictures. To my readers across the country - this is proof that there are still good people left in California, over 1000 gathered and it was quite hot out.

Reader Conservative Girl also attended the Washington DC Tea Party. 5,000 or more patriots showed up to this as well. She was kind enough to give me Facebook access to some of her pics from this event. Two highlights, pictures that she took, below -

  1. I've been to Russia Today a few times myself. They seem to be quite good. They've given Ron Paul a favorable amount of coverage.

How about that, a Russian news source is more honest in its coverage of American news than any of the American media. What a bizarro world.

  2. Was there ANY coverage on TV? Fox News didn't even mention the tea parties.

  3. Thanks for posting the great pics from the CA tea party. I know there are good people out there, and it's awesome you got to go and participate and post awesome pic. I didn't see any coverage in the msm, of course, they are still busy fawning over a dead, drugged up pedophile.

Isn't it interesting that Russia is more in tune with the way things really are in America than the US media.
I read today that Pravda published an editorial summing up the Obummer administration: "Obama: Deceiver, cheat, swindler, liar, fraudster, con-artist". Wow, they sure got his number! When will the rest of msm wake up (I know, never).

We are officially in bizarro world!

  4. We have fallen in a rabbit hole.

BTW I was disappointed in Mary Bono's recent vote for the crapiferous cap & trade bill. Sonny is rolling over in his grave for sure.

  5. @ Carl - Exactly, I never would have believed it even a year ago

@ Cons Lady - Nope, just in Russia.

@ Bunni - You are welcome, thanks for the tweets too!

@ Cube - Me too, I am going to work hard to ensure she loses. Sonny was a good man, she's a goner....

  6. Figures that the only honest coverage was from Russia. The Russian people probably have a better idea of what we're going through than we do.

  7. @ Spinster - the difference is that they suffered through Marxism and then revolted from it. We are just embracing it.

  8. I am shocked how Russia did honest fair and balanced reporting. Who would have thought the press outside of U.S. would give The Tea Partys fair reporting? A great video!!

I agree with both Spinsterpov and Left Coast Rebel. Russia had to go through Tyranny and Govt. totally ruling their life. We are only at the beginning now. Thank goodness there are people like us fighting back against this tyranny in the U.S. I believe that if we continue to shout out and demand our voices be heard, and numbers increase, than the politicians will be forced to listen to us.

  9. FL Tea party drama
The Port St.Lucie tea party was held at a community event called "Freedom Fest" which is held at the St Lucie fairgrounds. The Tea Party was held at section 2 of the fairgrounds. The City Council placed a huge sign in front of the section in an admitted attempt to hide the Tea Party. Next week the City Council is having a meeting and the Tea Party folks are planning to invade it.
I suggest calling the mayor and city council and telling them what you think the Mayor's/city council's phone # (407) 871 5159 and their website www.cityofpsl.com Let's pass this to every conservative tea party supporting site we can!!!!

  10. The DC party was much bigger this time around. Although the tax day one was in the middle of the day, it was cold and pouring rain. Yet about 1500 people showed up. Approx 5,000 were at Saturday's. If you would like to see some pic's let me know, they are on facebook.

  11. @ Teresa - Even a year ago, as I said before, I never would have thought this could have happened.

@ Andrew - Quite a story Andrew, did you post on this?

@ Consgirl - I would like to see the pics, email me!

  12. You just read the post. I sent it to all the bigger blogs to get the word out. I hope that I did enough that this story is on Beck tomorrow.

  13. I spotted this video on another blog yesterday and mentioned at the time that the world has gone mad when you have to turn to Russia Today for the truth. Here in Britain I often turn to Al Jazeera for the same reason. Have you noticed that since there has been an English version of the channel that there is no longer any attempt to demonize them, in fact, some big-name reporters from the BBC and other networks went to join Al Jazeera because they were given the freedom to report events truthfully with no network bias. That is the kind of reporting we used to but no longer have in Britain.

  15. I heard, Obama traded the White house pot gar..I mean Rose garden for a weeks flyover rights from Russia. Of course, the limiting factor is that we can only fly Cessnas over Russia. F35s are simply not allowed.

  16. I don't usually do this but were having a good chat on KOOk's blog abut the future of Sarah Palin.

  17. Right...I read a great report from a Russian journalist in May about how we're taking one of the quickest dives into socialism in history.

You have to love the irony of Russians being more fair than our own media.

  18. Dr. Dave, remember that the Russians went though this for 100 years. THey learned from their mistakes. We didnt because we had Jimmy Carter and now we presidency replayed on 24 hour cablenews.

  19. @ Dr. Dave - Shocking irony, isn't it?

@ Andrew - I'll check it out later today

  21. I actually think it is good that there was little (or no) media coverage. When a mega-concglomerate commandeers a grassroots movement, it really defeats the purpose of elliciting the kind of change or message you seek. Grassroots movements need to start small, create a stir, fire up the masses, and in the appropriate time, fight the power. Perhaps the second round, done the correct way this time around, could build more momentum.

On a side note, we have been discussing healthcare a lot as of late, and I have a new bill proposal in my blog... I think it is one we all can be happy with! Curious to hear the thoughts of you and your readers!

  22. @ Libertarian Adv - Indeed, thanks for reading!

@ The Law - I see your point, maybe the MSM ignoring is actually a blessing. I will add to your helth debate when time permits, sometimes my arguments with you are posts in themselves :).

  23. LCR,

Great find on the vid. By far the most accurate coverage that I've seen (outside of Fox News).

You remember how Pravda had a recent article lamenting America's rapid descent into Marxism?

Reality really is stranger than fiction.
