Sometimes things in life, activism, politics, come to a front. In the fray, the midst of a turning point; the so-called eye of the hurricane - life is stranger than fiction in slow-motion.
Blogging this morning, my mind turned once again to the Cap and Tax vote. The bizarre culmination of the events of that day. The media-saturation of the death of Michael Jackson. The slight, if nary - in most cases nonexistent mention of the grandest-scale regulatory and tax scheme of the air we breathe, the acceleration of our so-called leaders march to American 3rd tier vagrant-street-corner peddler status.
I was reminded of that day whilst spending Independence Day in the Temecula Valley, the Congressional district of one of the Turncoat 8 - Mary Bono Mack. My mind raced, dancing between ponderance of activism in a Turncoat's home-turf. Bumper stickers for the upcoming primary? Signs on telephone poles - Just Say No To Bono, Cap and Tax 8? Leaflets and Handouts? Banners on cars, lawns.....?
In perpetual motion and disarray from daily Obamanations and the continued acceleration of the meltdown of my Golden State, my mind comes back to a focal-point - our pathetic, useless media. The folly and danger of our state-run press. Life is stranger than fiction in slow motion.

Are these talking bobbheads owned and led by the State? Do they get daily marching orders? Memos? Compliance letters? Or are they just collectively stupid, apathetic, ignorant and lazy? Swine-like? Hyenas circling a bloody corpse? Swine circling a bloody corpse? Radically communist so-called progressive? Simply mentally dysfunctional psychopaths? Or just plain dumb, misinformed, constitutionally illiterate morons?
I vote for swine, perhaps in addition to all of the above. Thank you, State-run press, I will never forget the cap and tax vote on the back of Michael Jackson's passing. I will never forget that the most simple and effective form of propaganda is to aid and abet in simple silence. My hat is forever tipped to you and your bastardization of our Free Press.
In remembrance I will never forget the following video - a memoranda to the ability of our US
press to enable our slide into a Banana Republic. Life is stranger than fiction in slow motion.
Remember folks, countries like India are jettisoning 3rd-world ideology and governance; Marxism, Socialism, Big-Government. Our Obamanation, our Press, our Congress is embracing it. A fiction, a train-wreck, in slow motion.

LCR,
ReplyDeleteDon't get me started :)
I can't believe our media let's Obama say things like Cap and trade is a jobs bill and Obamacare is savings for our budget. In the abscence of state run media, Geithner told a group of Chinese business students that the US dollar would stay strong. He was laughed at. That's the correct response to stupidity.
Consgen - You are correct, the whole thing is a train wreck in slow motion. The fact that it took the Chinese to laugh at the idiocy of this admin is laughable and pathetic in itself.
ReplyDeleteWhen do we get to bury that guy anyway? I am so sick of not hearing news!
ReplyDeleteYes. Train wreck in slow motion. Agreed.
Ironic that when we bury basically an overrated pervert and freak that could do childist singing and vulgar dancing (that he mainly learned from Mondona) that we will also be burying America as well. Because of his what some are calling untimely, but the timing couldn't had been better for the Neo-Marxists, death of this overrated man, the Marxist are going to pass the biggest regulatory bill in human history that will finally kill the mighty US economy. I'll wager Kayoto will be next up and with this Senate now filibuster proof with that evil clown being seated (another story that got buried in this mess, the Minninasota courts allowing the thef of that senate seat), Kayoto will finally be ratified using Cap and Trade as its model for the industrialized nations. Good bye to bad rubbish. Too bad we're going to throw the baby out with the bath water because of it.
